Kris Fork is our May Volunteer of the Month. She is originally from Zillah, WA. She has one daughter, one son and three grandchildren. She helps teach our Gardening Workshops at the Harman Center as well as keeps up our flower beds and pots. She has over 23 years of gardening experience. She has her BA in Botany and also studied Floral Design. She has worked for different maintenance/landscaping companies as well as independently. She enjoys gardening because it helps make the world more beautiful for everyone to enjoy. At age 44, she boxed in the Tough Men/Women Competition and came in 3rd in the State. Kris loves volunteering and believes that it is so important for everyone to volunteer to bring positivity and make the whole community come together. Come down to the Harman Center and try out one of Kris’ gardening workshops as well as meet some of our other Volunteering All-Stars.
