Our Harman Center February Volunteer of the Month is Rosie Steele. She is originally from Tonasket, WA. She has worked with computers for years. She used to design circuits for companies. She retired from Qwest in Seattle in 2005. Her favorite hobby is computers and her favorite program is Excel. She has 2 cats (Zipper and Lenny) and 3 dogs (Esmerelda, Emoji, and Susie).
Rosie began volunteering at the Harman Center in 2006. She came in to take a computer class offered at the center and during the class she ended up helping all of other students. Rosie was then asked to be an assistant for the Computer Lab. She is now the coordinator for all computer classes and labs. She teaches an assortment of computer classes. She also helps with a variety of other jobs at the center including logging all of our volunteer’s hours. She volunteers at Cottage in the Meadow too. Rosie enjoys volunteering at the Harman Center because of the people. Come on down to the Harman Center, check our computer lab, and meet Rosie!
